I attended school and college in North Wales. I enjoyed science and maths especially towards the end of my time in school. This coupled with a general interest in space, technology, and computing cemented my decision to remain in education. I attained 12 grade A*-C GCSEs in school and went on to get A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and ICT, as well as an AS-Level in Chemistry.
Gaining more and more physics knowledge over the course of my A-levels ultimately lead to a catch-22, where the more I learned the more I realised there was to learn. My passion for physics was so strong at the end of my A-levels - thanks in part to an incredibly talented and engaging tutor, and thanks in part to my granddad - that I just had to go on to do a degree in the subject ...

I enojoy aviation and photography, and try as much as possible to combine these interests by visiting the infamous "Mach Loop" and the occassional airshow.
